The following charges are applied by the Adoption Authority of Ireland:

A copy of an entry in the Register of Intercountry Adoptions:

€2.00 for a search.                  €20.00 for a copy of an entry

A copy of an entry in the Gender Recognition Register (Intercountry Adoptions):

€2.00 for a search.                   €20.00 for a copy of an entry

There is no charge for issuing a Declaration of Eligibility and Suitability.

There is no charge for an entry in the Register of Intercountry Adoptions.


Certain Accredited Bodies have fees approved by the Adoption Authority of Ireland for services rendered – the fees for the programmes listed below are detailed in the country specific page for each country.  You can click on the name of the country to go to the information. Helping Hands Adoption Mediation Agency (HHAMA)

For each of the countries the Common Programme Fee is €9,500.  The fees for the specific country programme varies.
